It could be argued that, if the Austinville Lunarticks group was born at its inaugural meeting on 5th Oct 2023, it was conceived at the Heritage night at the Mount Nimmel Hall on 5th August 2023.

After the Hall Heritage night, Russ sent around an email entitled 'Cultural events with themes delving into the various cultures, music, art, history, photography, poetry, philosophy and more’.

This triggered a meeting on 5th Oct 2023 at which various possibilities were discussed and the shape of the group was decided.
